This DVD tells the remarkable story of over 80 years of aircraft production and flying at Brooklands by such companies as Bleriot, Sopwith, Vickers and Hawker. Over 18,600 aircraft of nearly 260 designs were first flown, manufactured or assembled here including Wellington, Hurricane, Viking, Viscount, Vanguard, VC10, One Eleven, TSR2 and Concorde. The DVD includes archive footage and interviews with Sir George Edwards together with a special feature:' Worker’s Week-End', in which a Wellington Bomber is built in a record time of 30 hours. Total running time of approximately 70 minutes and produced by David Weguelin Productions.
