These terms and conditions apply to the use of this web site at www.brooklandsmuseumshop.com. By accessing this web site and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Using this web site indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us or order from us. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this web site.

2. Security

  • Brooklands Ltd takes online security and customer confidence very seriously. All card payments are made using Sage Pay, the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the UK, which allows credit / debit card transactions to be processed securely. We keep no record of your credit card number, so each time you make a purchase you will have to re-enter the information. We feel it is by far the most secure method of handling credit card numbers. 3. Pricing and payment

  1. Our prices include VAT.
  2. Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this web site.

4. Ordering from us

  1. You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.
  2. If you have a voucher, promotion or discount code, this should be entered during the checkout process to be valid.
  3. Our acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order. When we despatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.
  4. Payment details and your order will be subject to scrutiny by Sage Pay (our credit/debit card security system) and by our staff. We reserve the right to cancel any order if problems or issues arise at this stage of an order. Customers will be notified in any such case.
  5. We may refuse to accept an order:
    1. where goods are not available;
    2. where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
    3. if there has been a pricing or product description error; or
    4. if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

5. Shipping costs and delivery

  1. At present we ship only to UK mainland addresses.
  2. The total cost of postage and packaging is £2.95 and orders will be despatched by Royal Mail 2nd Class post or Parcelforce whichever is the cheapest and most appropriate method available.
  3. We aim to despatch within 3 working days of receipt of order.

6. Cancellation and returns policy

  1. You have the right to cancel your order within twenty one days after receiving the goods and return them for a full refund.
  2. If you wish to cancel your order:
    1. you can notify us by email to sales@brooklandsmuseumshop.com before we have dispatched the goods to you; or
    2. where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 6.3 below.
  3. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you. As we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit, we strongly recommend that these are sent back by recorded post.
  4. Goods must be returned in the condition they were despatched.
  5. Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required.

6. Licence

  1. You are permitted to print and download extracts from this web site for your own use on the following basis:
    1. no documents or related graphics on this web site are modified in any way;
    2. no graphics on this web site are used separately from accompanying text; and
    3. any of our copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.
  2. Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this web site (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by us or our licensors.
